Borough of Manhattan Community College student Ebony Childs’ love for reading and writing came at an early age. An avid poet and photographer, Ebony plans to use her skills to become an investigative journalist and win the Pulitzer Prize for exposing environmental and human rights violations. Ebony is a Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society member and the President and founder of newly chartered human rights club RISE (Research in Societal Equality).
