Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) student and Dominican Republic native Nolvia Delgado works as a legislative assistant for N.Y. State Assemblyman Vito Lopez and is a youth mentor to Latino teens. A Liberal Arts major, she is interested in a career in public service focusing on the needs of low-income communities, especially in the area of educational access. This summer, Nolvia will participate in the Latinas Learning to Lead Program in Washington, D.C. and Vassar College’s summer transfer program
