Luis Feliz is a Liberal Arts major in the Honors Program at LaGuardia Community College. The aspiring English professor launched and now writes for his school’s literary magazine.  He is a volunteer ESL teacher with New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE), and would like to author a book about the immigrant experience in the U.S.  Luis is an active member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), the international honor society of two-year colleges.  He will spend this summer studying at Vassar College.
