Leonardo Minier , 19, was born in Dominican Republic and moved to NYC with his parents at the age of four. Since a very young age, Leonardo was fascinated by the mechanics of household electronics. Growing up in NYC surrounded by its complicated infrastructure, Leonardo was inspired into pursuing an associate's degree in Engineering Science at BronxCommunity College (BCC). Leonardo is a member of  BCC's Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program.   He would like to be instrumental in building environmentally friendly and safe structures, while ensuring that the existing ones are properly maintained. Prior to attending BCC, Leonardo participated in the National Council of La Raza Escalera Program, where he learned leadership skills and served as a Relationship Abuse Prevention Program Peer Leader in his high school.
