Keisha Bowen, a native of Barbados, holds a Science degree from the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). At BMCC, she participated in the C-STEP Program, which affords minority students on-campus research opportunities, was a Student Ambassador and inducted into the BMCC Honor Society of Black Student Scholars. Kesha transferred to Goucher College, where she completed a semester studying at London’s Westminster University. At Goucher, she was a member of various on campus organizations including CAUSE, a student volunteer program, and the Psychology Honor Society. In 2009, Keisha graduated with a BA degree in psychology. Keisha’s goal is to become a pediatrician. As she prepares to begin the medical school application process, Keisha is working as a Patient Coordinator at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Eye Associates.
