Cristina Rodriguez is a Business Administration student in LaGuardia’s Honors Program. Wanting to improve the public healthcare system, Cristina hopes to merge a business background with her desire to increase access to quality healthcare in low-income communities. Cristina is an Accelerated Study in Associate Program (ASAP) student and has represented LaGuardia at an Economic Conference in Washington, D.C. She also volunteers through New York Cares and works as a student technology mentor at LaGuardia. Cristina was accepted by American University where she hopes to pursue a course of study that will position her to build a career in public service.
